Employee Relations Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that Employee Relations / Industrial Relations (ER/IR) Policies and Procedures for the handling of misconduct/incapacity exist and are developed in line with applicable legislation.
- Provide a specialist consulting and advisory service for the company on all employee/industrial relations related policies, agreements, and procedures.
- Provide an industrial relations training and development service for the company.
- To assist and support management in trade union matters
- To represent the company at the Dispute Resolution Centre (DRC)
- To reduce the amount of (DRC) referrals by providing sound advice on labour law issues and delivering thoroughly researched and substantiated outcomes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric/ NQF Level 4 (Essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree/ BTech in Human Resources/Labour Law or any other related qualification (Essential)
- 5 – 10 Years’ experience in a Manufacturing and production environment as ER Specialist (Essential)
- At least 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry experience working with MIBCO (Essential)
- Knowledge of Employment Legislation/HR principles and best practice
- 6 Years’ experience of dispute Resolution Centre (DRC) rules and dispute resolutions (Essential)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric/ NQF Level 4 (Essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field (Essential)
- Registration with professional body preferable SABPP (Desirable)
- 5-10 Years HR Generalist/HRBP experience (Essential)
- Solid Project Management/ knowledge experience (Essential)
- 5 Years’ experience in HR Business Partnering (essential)
- Demonstrable experience with HR Metrics and analytics (Essential)
- Experience working with Business Partner Model (Desirable)
- Data evaluation skills for monitoring and evaluating data (Essential)
- Sound knowledge of BCEA, EE, WSP, ATR reporting and BBBEE (Essential)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the HR Officers in the effective candidate attraction initiatives to meet departmental requirements.
- Support the roll out of HR Projects and organisational change programmes to support the HR Strategy.
- Assist the business managers in the organisational design, ensuring any structural changes are competently executed.
- Conduct monthly meetings with respective departments.
- Design and manage employee surveys.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Internal Applicants that have changed positions must have held their current role with Hesto for a least twelve (12) consecutive months.

Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime, public holidays and weekends when necessary.

IT Server Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric (Essential)
- Microsoft Certification (Essential)
- Network Certification (Essential)
- Firewall Certification (Advantageous)
- 3 years with installing and configuring server hardware and switches (Preferred)
- 5 years supporting Server Operating systems (Windows and Linux) (Essential)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation, configuration and maintenance of Server, Virtual Server and Storage and Network Hardware infrastructure
- Maintenance of all aspects of the Domain infrastructure

Assistance with the design of the Backup Strategy in line with the Company requirements as well as configuration and monitoring of backups.

Documentation of all systems, applications, infrastructure, configuration and process involved in the Server Environment

- 5 Years leadership experience
- 5 years project leadership experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage production staff and carry out all management activities within the department.
- Ensure compliance to quality and health and safety requirements.
- Evaluate current systems and procedures and recommend improvements.
- Implement operational plans and monitor outputs against set targets.
- Chair disciplinary hearings and ensure adherence to all company policies.
- Identify department’s requirements and provide recommendations to close the gaps.
